Explore strategies published by traders on Royce, decide exactly how their activity is copied to your own account, and set the exposure limits you are comfortable with. You can adjust, pause or stop copying at any time.
Copy trading involves risk. Historical performance does not guarantee future results, and copied trades may execute at different prices or produce different outcomes.
Copying relationshipSignal path
Volume is scaled to each follower’s balance and settings, so no two accounts copy the same size. Prices, timing and outcomes can differ from the provider’s.

The difference
Copy trading, and everything around it
Copy trading is the mechanism. Social Trading is the layer that lets you find, compare and follow the people using it.
Copy trading
The execution layer. When a provider opens, changes or closes a position, matching activity is generated on subscribed accounts.
Provider activity is replicated automatically
Volume is scaled by the follower’s own settings
Runs continuously until the follower pauses or stops it
Social Trading
Everything you need before and after that decision — discovery, comparison, disclosure and oversight.
Provider discovery with filters and sorting
Transparent statistics on every strategy profile
Watchlists for strategies you are still assessing
Communication between providers and followers

Your funds stay in your own accountCopying places orders on the trading account you already hold with Royce. Money is not transferred to the provider.
Results will not match exactlyDifferences in balance, leverage, settings, spread and timing mean a copied trade can open at a different price and close with a different outcome.
You keep the controlsAllocation, volume limits, loss limits and profit targets are set by you, and can be changed or switched off while a subscription is running.
Nothing is guaranteedA strategy’s history describes what has already happened. It is not a projection, a commitment or an indication of future results.
Step by step
How it works
The route differs depending on which side of the relationship you are on. Select a step to see what it involves.
Strategy marketplace
Explore strategies
Explore trading approaches by risk classification, drawdown, account age, market and fee structure. Strategies are never ordered by total profit alone.
Copying volume is derived from a mode you choose, not from the provider’s position size. Select a mode to see how the same provider trade lands on your account.
Copy by equity

Illustrative only. Actual copied volume also depends on instrument minimums, broker volume steps, available margin and your own minimum and maximum volume limits.
Minimum and maximum volume
Set a floor and a ceiling on any single copied position, so an unusually large provider trade cannot translate into an outsized position on your account.
Total-loss limit
Define the cumulative loss on the subscription at which copying should stop. Reaching the limit triggers a stop instruction — not a guaranteed exit price.
Floating-loss limit
Acts on unrealised loss across currently open copied positions rather than on closed results, for shorter-horizon control.
Profit target
Set a level of accumulated profit at which the subscription closes out, if you would rather bank a result than let it run.
Subscription stop-loss
A single stop level applied across the whole subscription, independent of any stops the provider places on their own trades.
Pause or stop copying
Pause to stop new trades being copied while existing ones stay open, or stop to end the subscription. You choose how open positions are handled.
Provider programme
Publish the way you trade
If you already trade a consistent approach on a Royce account, you can apply to publish it as a strategy. Applications are reviewed before anything appears in the directory.
Eligibility
An eligible live Royce trading account in good standing, meeting the account type and minimum requirements set for the programme.
Account and identity verification
Verification is completed through the Royce client portal before an application can be assessed. It is never collected on this page.
Strategy description
Describe the instruments you trade, your typical holding period, how you manage risk, and anything a follower should understand before subscribing.
Track-record review
Royce reviews trading history for length, consistency and risk behaviour. Track record is assessed on more than headline return.
Public or private
Publish openly in the directory, or keep the strategy private and share access only with followers you invite.
Offers and fees
Create one or more offers, each setting out the applicable fees and terms. Followers see the full fee structure before subscribing.
Reporting and monitoring
Track followers, subscribed volume and accrued fees from your provider view in the client portal.
Approval and ongoing conduct
Profiles and offers are approved before publication, and strategy activity and conduct continue to be monitored afterwards.
